A marathon vs. one step within it

Mindset & Reframing 1080x1350.png

Catch & Release:

Some weeks, I have themes with my clients- and this week to theme is-
Asking ourselves,
“How does it feel to remove the expectation of having to ‘love’ exercising?”

If you’re running a marathon, it’s easy to forget that is consists of 55,000 (give or take a couple thou) steps as WELL as the 26 miles.

When you’re parenting, imagining our kids as adults tends to be where our mind goes and we miss the “that one time they’ll come home off the bus in 6th grade”

Meaning—
A lifetime is long.
Hate to love *may* (if it happens) take years-
But shortening the journey helps reframe that.

Lowing expectations helps.
Taking your eye off the end route and seeing where the NEXT correct turn is HELPS.

Also, indifference is not ‘bad’
I’m not a huge fan of brushing my teeth, nor do I love it- that’s okay.
