I just finished this custom order for my @ragamuffinremakes Etsy shop (that I forgot the IG password for) wHOOPS 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

When I make these canvases for people, I think about where the person will hang it, about how maybe one day it’ll be just the thing they needed to see prior to walking out the door, or how maybe in an angry moment- it might be broken over the knee cap while yelling the words- “NO I will NOT enjoy today!” -
And this is one aspect of what I love about creating these- I will never know-
I’ll never know the joy they will bring, or the release of momentary anger-
But what I do know is that as I’m creating them, I’m thinking of the specific person (or customer) that I’m making it for-
And I hope that it brightens their day or the person for whom they’ve made the purchase.

Art in general-
You make it- and put it out there-
Letting a small piece of vulnerability be shared with the world.
