I don’t know how, but I stumbled across a wonderful woman on IG who lives in Spokane- (@laurenkial) .

She came to the expo yesterday-and we finally met in person after many message exchanges.

She is a photographer and took this picture (which may seem random to her) but captures everything I want to remember about this weekend at the expo.

I was exhausted- I pushed through and taught while recovering from the flu- I was running on adrenaline and coffee-but most of all- what fueled me, was seeing my family.

Having my mom, Nick and my daughter present (my daughter seeing me teach for the first time ever)

- is something that I have dreamt about since I first held her. .

I may take one step forward and two steps back (on multiple occasions) while on this journey, but I want her to see me as a mother who continues to work with and pursue her gift- somehow, in some form-

who falls- but who always wipes her knees & gets back up-
